Small spotting scope

I bought a Gerber Montana 15-45 X 60 spotting scope from BOCA last Saturday
(my first ever scope) and, although I'm still learning how to drive it, I'm
very pleased with my purchase. It is relatively light and comes with a
pouch and shoulder strap for transport.

I only wear reading glasses but I tried using the scope with sunglasses on
and that seemed to work. The eyepiece has an adjustable cover that is
intended to accommodate glasses.

BOCA price was $403.

Regards

David

My old small Bushnell scope that was ideal for airline travel has given up
the ghost (frustratingly on a trip to Cairns!) so am looking for a new
small
scope preferably under $1,000. Have had a brief look at Gerber - any
thoughts (I need a long eye relief as I wear glasses)

Thanks

Dave
