I saw a Royal Spoonbill in breeding plumage in the drain between the
busway and the Holland Park West High School [southern Brisbane] this
afternoon. It's nice to see that the landscaping effort [they put lots
of large rocks into what might otherwise have been a concrete spoon
drain] has paid off. Perhaps some Buff-bandeds will turn up next.
