The Sherwood arboretum is within staggering distance from the railway station, the Roma Street gardens are a stone's throw from the railway station, the Wynnum esplanade is relatively close to the railway station, you can catch a bus to Walkabout Ck/Lake Enoggera. If you want to see bush thickknees, just pop to the city botanical gardens ...

Hi all

Heading up to Brisbane next week for a week for work. I should get some spare time but probably wont have a car. Just wondering if anyone can recommend some easily accessible spots from Public Transport around Brisbane. Not after anything in particular, just anything feathered to rest the binoculars on and switch the brain off.

Cheers
Tim
