Thanks. Will check it out... You’re welcome to the image of my map that will
print out at A0 size, if you want. Hopefully I’ll eventually have enough
information to annotate it with names of ponds and so forth.

I have a couple of maps with pond numbers (not names). The maps are slightly
strange as they cover Melbourne Water assets only and thus do not show
public roads! They are on my web site at HYPERLINK
"http://birdingsites.com.au"birdingsites.com.au.

Hi Andrew,

I must admit that I also find WTP geography a bit difficult. I've got the
map from Melbourne Water, of course, but it's not very clear and often
doesn't include the names that others mention here. It would be nice if
there was a more detailed map or at least a description of the location of
the various ponds and pits. I guess in the absence of that we just do things
the way they've always been done - go there with someone that's been there
many times before...

I have two maps of the Werribee plant but neither shows the Conservation
Ponds. I am familiar with the site and visit regularly, and would like to
try and find some of the recently reported birds, which would be new for me
as a fairly new entrant to both birding and Australia. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Andrew Wood
