I posted a comment on the ABC's website a couple of hours ago noting they had
got the wrong species and they updated the photo without adding my comment.
Charming. At least they've got the wood duck there now. I must say, it does
sound odd that the National Parks granted the licence.
Just out of interest, I'm not a golfer, but this could possibly coax me on to

- not that I live anywhere near there!! More golf clubs should educate/inform
their golfers about the local wildlife like this one, after all, they have
probably taken some or all of their native habitat away anyway. Maybe they
wouldn't mind the duck poo so much if they had their eye on the birds and not
the ball!!
