The Sandpiper seems to have moved on. Alan Gillanders thoroughly searched
the swamp this morning between 05.00 and 07.00 and found no sign of it.
Maybe worth somebody checking at 10.00 when seen yesterday. Experience
overseas shows Green Sandpipers are very site faithful. They favour drains,
ditches and like to use banks or tall vegetation for cover rather than open
swamps.
