A question for those who use GPS devices when navigating and/or birding.
The following situation developed on a recent birding trip to Ouyen and
Mildura districts.
After 3 years of completely untroubled use my little Garmin Gecko has had
a malfunction of sorts. The screen has now gone 'grey' and is hard to
read. The unit itself still shows it works, as the navigation information
can be faintly seen and the battery level indicator shows it to be at full
strength.
Has anyone had a similar experience with any of their units?
If so, what did you do about it??
