Interesting, he has been charged with 'importing CITES species under the
Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999' and yet the
species is not identified. I always thought Customs operated in a vacuum...

This was recently discussed on this list.  News release from Customs
service indicates someone was arrested just yesterday trying to smuggle
10 unidentified (as yet) eggs into Australia.
