bush stone curlews, uni qld st lucia

Yesterday whilst at the University of Qld, St Lucia, we saw two adult  
bush stone curlews lounging around with their two offspring, in garden  
woodchips on the edge of the Hartley Teakle carpark near where they  
are usually found. They were the only curlews we found in that area at  
this time (about midday).
