Hi folks, At the Estuary tonight were 12 adult and 3 immature Little Terns (at least one of which I recognised from its coloured leg bands – aquamarine/Tiffany blue over flesh-pink left leg and aquamarine/Tiffany blue over metallic band right leg). And they were displaying both on the sand and in the air (a very pretty aerial formation flight in pairs). So I guess they’re going to try and nest again….
