I am amused by all the activity re Jandowae and Painted Honeyeaters.

I checked the archives to be certain and in 1990 I offered maps to
anyone who asked, which showed the location of Painteds and several
other relatively rare species in the area.

I even prepared a bird list of the area and copies of this and the maps

were left at the Information Office.

I had about THREE inquiries. Why all the interest now?
