Kings Billabong is easily accessible and should provide woodland and
wetlands species.
I stayed at Euston recently and spent a spare morning sitting outside my
motel room overlooking the Murray. Twenty-six species flew or swam by in
two hours.

A request for those who have visited or live in / near Mildura.
I will be up Mildura way for an overnight stop later this month and
wondered what suitable woodland or other bush sites near town are good for
birding at the moment. I have access to topographic maps and will also
have a hire car (not 4WD).
Am checking the sites recommended by the Bird Observes Club branch in
Mildura (SUNBOCA -> http://home.vicnet.net.au/~sunboc/) but wondered what
other sites people recommend?
