I've just got home from work. Riding through Dight's Falls near Clifton Hill I saw a very heavy goose. It had a grey front, dark grey back, and white vent. It seemed to have a liht coloured or white patch on its crown. It reminded me of a greylag, but I didn't have any binoculars, pen or paper, and my eyesight isn't fantastic. If anyone has the time, can they take a stroll this evening? I saw it about 200 metres downstream of the bend which itself is just downstream of the falls.
