G'day Margaret

Flicking through P&K ed 7, I would say there are about 67 species of honeyeaters in Aus, give or take a few lumps and splits.

Regards, Laurie.

Hi Folks

I am doing a talk to the RSPB next Monday of my time that I spent "Down Under" last year. Could you tell me how many Honeyeaters there are in Australia please?

I am coming over again for 2 months from December in the Sydney area and it would be quite nice to meet and possible go out birding with some of you. I will be staying at Mount Kurringgai.

Many thanks in advance from Bangor in Northern Ireland.
