Tony Russell wrote: Someone on this net was recently talking about taking lantern batteries apart to get the AAs out - or they gave a website which talked about it. It's a hoax; lantern batteries contain four large "F" cells, not AAs. If you have an old lantern battery, feel free to pull it apart; peel off the label, and remove the top with a flat-bladed screwdriver (some elbow grease required.) Be careful not to short out the cells with the screwdriver. -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Paul Taylor Veni, vidi, tici - I came, I saw, I ticked. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
