In general I am in favour of wind - whilst undoubtedly turbines do
kill birds (and I am sure that some MW sites would have to be ruled
out) I suspect that the number is small compared to the number that
hit other buildings and are hit by traffic. Equally hard to quantify
is whether the sacrifice of a few birds to wind turbines is justified
by the numbers of birds that could be saved if we manage to reduce
climate change!
