I purchased an angled Nikon scope from binoculars.com in February. They were having a sale so I managed to get both scope and a lightweight tripod for around $700 - and that included postage! I can't recall the exact model off the top of my head, but I do know binoculars.com didn't have it available last time I checked (they still had the straight version). It's a great scope. The zoom on the eyepiece isn't perfect, focus is lost very easily, but at low magnification the image is clear and crisp. I've found the same with binoculars - buying a Japanese brand you sacrifice a tiny bit of quality and a LOT of price compared to European brands. Belinda Narrogin, W.A.
