The male of our pair is currently excessively demanding, driving me insane,
by continuously ferrying pet mince we buy from the local butchers to the
young in his nest. So you could try that as a staple.
I think he thinks he's returning the favour by depositing the faecal sacs
removed from the nest on the hedge on which the mince is placed!
