Hi All, Preparing the boat this morning to launch at Whitnell Bay on the Burrup Peninsula (adjacent Dampier, NW WA) I observed a single Beach Stone-Curlew flying bye calling at 7:00am. A site mentioned in bradbury's "where to find birds in australia" (1990 I think?). I haven't observed it at this site before though. Good to know it still persists given the amount of boat and car activity in the area.
