Hi allI went out to see if I could find the Barking Owl at Blue Gum Reserve in Chatswood this morning. After a couple of treks up and down the relevant part of the creek, I located a single bird, seen at about 7:10am - I was alerted to its presence by the bird softly calling, which continued for about 10 minutes. It then settled down to roost again. It was completely uninterested in a White Browed Scrubwren that was buzzing around at the base of the tree it was in. It was low down in a tree just beyond where the path crosses over the big fallen log and then cuts down to the creek - look ahead and slightly to the left CheersTom Wilson =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
