Walked through the park this morning on way to work and saw a White-necked 
Heron perched in a dead tree on an island in the Duck Pond - haven't seen one 
of these in the district for several years and a new bird for my park list.  
Also saw Baillon's Crake (great views) and Tawny Grassbird singing away in 
reeds on Willow Pond but surprisingly no snipe as yet.  Cheers,
