I was out this morning (Monday 10 Sept) and heard one calling in Turramurra,
northern Sydney at about 6:15am. It was a reasonable way off and I didn't
see it, but it's a pretty distinctive call! That's my earliest record for
here by about 2 weeks - I often have to wait two or three weeks from the
first reports before they show up around Turramurra.
