When I lived in Laurieton (South of Port Macquarie) the Torresian Crows dunked bread, dog biscuits and bones into the water bowl. The Rainbow Lorikeets just loved the presoaked bread. Now I live in Alstonville (West of Ballina, North coast NSW) and for 3days before the rain & cool weather change on the 4th, the Pied Currawongs called all day for the 3 days prior to the change. To day Wednesday, there has not been a sound from them. Do they sense these changes as rain could mean more food about. eg. worms coming to the surface Janet =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
