Hi Birders,

While the first Pacific Golden Plovers returned to Tuggerah Lakes last montn (23/8) it was not until today that the first Red Knot (1) and Sharp-tailed Sandpipers (3) have returned. These arrival dates are on par with previous dates. The first Latham's Snipe (4) returned to the Dairy Swamp, Tuggerah on 17/8 which is also close to the usual arrival date for the Sydney Region of 15/8.

Bar-tailed Godwit and Greenshank numbers today rose to 72 & 4 respectively, up from 26 & 1 the previous week.
