RFI Goulburn NSW, etc

I might be visiting Goulburn, NSW, for a week or so some time in the
next couple of months and I'm wondering if anyone could suggest some
good birding spots.

I'd stay in Goulburn itself a couple of days, then stay somewhere, e.g.
a caravan park, within an hour or so drive of Goulburn.  What are my
options?  What am I just missing out on by limiting myself to an hour's
drive?
