Hi there birders,
A reader on my birding blog sent me this interesting question: "Do birds
have a sense of smell?
My first reaction was - "of course they do."
Upon doing a little research the short answer is "yes - but most species
have a poorly developed sense of smell."
The long answer is more complicated (of course). Some species have a
highly developed sense of smell (eg Kiwis - the bird, not the people)
