Just an update on the Pied Oystercatchers in front of my place at Bolton Point, Lake Macquarie. Three have been here all week and overnight the group expanded to five. Somehow the word has got out that there is a good feed to be had. They are still grazing on the washed up mussels. No SIPO's but interesting that two have quite a bit of white showing on the lower part of the folded wing and the other three virtually none.
