g'Day Marnix
Recently i purchased a pair of Pentax 8 x 43 DCF SP biniculars online
from from Adorama Cameras in the US. Using PAYPAL the cost to me on 01
May 2007 with freight was $567.00 AUD. Our $ was about US$0.81cents at
the time. They have a world wide warranty.

These bins are highly recommended, i use them for pelagics and wader
observation. Comfortable, lightweight robust with excellent visuals.

I am in the market for a pair of waterproof/fogproof and rubber coated
binoculars for less than c.$800. I have my eye on the Nikon Monarch 8x42.
Does anyone have any advice for me regarding good budget waterproof binos
or maybe someone has a pair of the Nikon Monarchs and can tell me how they
find them.
Any advice on where to buy a pair would also be appreciated.
