G’day,

Birdwatching is an increasingly popular activity and Birding-Aus is an evolving network. The discussions carried out, and the activities
reported on, Birding-Aus raise a number of interesting questions.

Following a discussion with Russell Woodford [list manager], I’m
conducting a census of people who access Birding-Aus. If you have
subscribed to Birding-Aus or you access Birding-Aus via the archives,
then you are eligible to participate in the census (and I would like to hear from you). Please note that I would like to hear from both people who live in Australia, and people who live in other countries.

Bearing in mind that your participation in the census is totally
voluntary and that you will not be publicly identified as a consequence of this research, please reply to this email if you are willing to participate in this survey. As an incentive for people to participate, I will circulate a summary to birders who take part in the census.

Please email me via rather than replying to
the list.

Regards, Laurie Knight.
