Hello everyone, Went to Magic Point Maroubra on the strength of a weather
forecast on Tuesday for galeforce winds off Sydney on Wednesday. These did not
eventuate, another incorrect forecast to add to the many we get in Sydney.
Those tunnels make a difference we got from Kellyville in the N/W to Magic
Point in 70mins. The usual B/B and Y/N alba + juv Wanderer were seen with 100's
of Fluttering S/W the highlight however was a Salvins Albatross. A Sydney tick
for me was a Australian Fur Seal lounging about below the cliffs, obviously the
reason for us not hearing or seeing Little Penguins. The B/B alba were feasting
on two large Squid floating on the surface.
