Hi Chris,
Arizona shares a forum with neighboring New Mexico. Like any
listserv, it has its pros and cons, but is overall a good resource
for information. Its technical name is birdwg05 and can be joined
by visiting this web page:
http://listserv.arizona.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=birdwg05&A=1
If you don't need to join, it can be viewed on a couple of other
websites such as this:
http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/AZNM.html
You might want to also check out:
http://www.tucsonaudubon.org/
This site has lots of information for area birders including a list
of local contacts <http://www.tucsonaudubon.org/birding/guides.htm>.
Tucson Audubon has also published an excellent bird finding guide for
the area.
Depending on what part of the month you are in Arizona, I'll either
be here or in Australia, so I could perhaps help you with a bit of
birding around Tucson.
Cheers,
Chris

Hello All,
Is any one tell me if there is an equivalent of Birding-Aus in the
USA?
Also, I trust to be visiting Arizona in September, and wonder if
there are any birding contacts around Tucson?
Regards,
