After seeing the GGWS (bits of - I skimmed the DVD) and An Inconvenient
Truth, I feel that the evidence for the first two is quite high. However,
the simplistic idea that it can all be ascribed to CO2 is not close to
proven. After all the temperature has been rising steadily for 200 years but
CO2 levels have only gone up for the last 50 (during the first 20 of which
50 temperature went down).
The idea that a bit of clean coal (whatever that is?), and some wind farms
will achieve anything seems rather doubtful.
Since Peak Oil has occurred, and peak coal is only some 50 years off, it
seems to me that there is a good chance that it will all be solved anyway.
