Thanks, you good folk who responded, for your advice. Brown Goshawk and Collared Sparrowhawk, seem to be the two possibilities. While I wouldn't put it past a currawong to dine on dove, the observer did say some sort of raptor and he would certainly be able to distinguish between raptor and currawong. Cheers Syd |
