Hi Carol
Latest words from Matthew (hope you don't mind me posting this Matthew?) from Cumberland SF is that they have unfortunately abandoned the nest and have not been seen for a couple of weeks at least. Possibly the eggs were infertile or the hollow was flooded in all the terrible storms we had.
Very sad indeed.
I last saw them on the 13th june but haven't been back myself since then.
Cheers
Dave

A question for Sydney birders: Has anyone seen the Powerful Owl/s at Cumberland SF recently? Several people reported seeing it around early June, and just wondering if anyone has any later gen. Thanks.

Carol
