Hello all,
It's time to start planning for xmas holidays and [again] i was hoping that there might be someone to help me. I'm taking my family to tassie for the xmas holidays and i was hoping that there might be a tassie birder who might be interested in a house swap [or might know someone who might be interested in a house swap] for some of that period.

I have a largish house [4 bedrooms, 3 living, 2 bth] on the Blackall Range,
Sunshine Coast hinterland, circa 100km north of Brisbane, Qld [Australia].
We have a
good bird list for our 1/2 acre [over 100spp] - Satin and regent bowerbirds,
many parrots,
pigeons and passerines and Marbled frogmouth just down the road. Mapleton
Falls National Park and Forestry start 100metres and 50 metres from the
house respectively. Many many good birding areas are within striking
distance.[All of South east Queensland]
We have arranged one house swap before with some NZ birders from Wellington
a couple of years back
and it was very successful [and economical]. I have a wife and two kids
[which partly explains the need for examining cheaper holiday options]. We
have a car or two that can also be swapped if interested.
Any enquiries please contact me asap.
Cheers,
Ken
