Down thread is a reference to Queensland Bristlebirds. I have no knowledge of these birds so I did a bit of surfing and to my utmost surprise I now think it was the bird I saw running across the Back Beach Road on Fraser Island in August 1968. I have posted this sighting here previously but under the impression that it was a Rufus Scrub Bird. ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
