There has been mention of the Bush Stone-Curlews on the University of Queensland St Lucia campus before and they are still around in some numbers. At lunchtime I took a walk around the car park near the Hartley Teakle Building and counted 16, a little short of my record of 18. They seem to be enjoying the winter sunshine!
