I always think that collecting Gould pictures is a bit like collecting
antique furniture. Sure, he was a ground breaker and did some good work,
but you can get better images with a not too expensive digital camera.

Speaking of Goulds, there's a Gould's Bookshop in Newtown, the enormous
second place at the Sydney University end of King St. There's lots of
birdy stuff in his window, I wonder if the 2 are related in any way?
