I agree, start asap baiting the rats and mice while shooting the rabbits
(with rifles fitted with silencers to not disturb the birds) especially
in critical parts of the island while training the dogs for a final
clean-up. Is it possible to introduce a virus into the rabbit population
to clean them up then finally eradicate by rifle or dog those remaining.
Would that not be cheap and easy.

The report mentions 2 years to train dogs that kill the rabbits!
I thought there was an urgency to eradicate them before this years
breeding season?
Is 2 years too long or was the original urgency exaggerated to get
the ball rolling?
What's wrong with shooting?

Cheers
Dave
