$5 MILLION OF TOURISM FUNDING AVAILABLE
The Federal Government has opened a new round of funding for tourism
projects in drought-affected areas with $5 million of funding available next
financial year.
Projects from $50,000 to $500,000, which enhance tourism experiences, can be
funded through the program. State Governments can not apply but local
governments, regional tourism bodies and businesses are eligible.
Projects that help create more tourism jobs are encouraged, especially those
that help boost local economies.
Applications will close on Friday, 13 July 2007. For more information on
