Go to the Australasian Bird Image Database (ABID) at 
http://www.aviceda.org/abid/ and type 'crake' into the search engine (top right 
hand corner). Press Enter or 'Go' and scroll down - at least four excellent 
images are at the bottom of the page. Click on the image to expand.

Haha I am so in.

I guess I'd call myself an opportunistic twitcher.  If I'm in the vicinity
and something cool shows up I'll go take a look, but otherwise I'll content
myself with other people's stories and photos.  By the way - are there any
photos of the crake about for the general public to see?
