Here is the latest update from my father regarding the regent parrot shooting court case... The companies appeared in court yesterday, and the matter was adjourned. The companies were charged with taking protected wildlife, g1ving false and misleading information to an authorised officer and exceeding authorisations issued to them under s.28 of the Wildlife Act. The matter was adjourned to 17thh July for a contested hearing. The companies pleaded guilty to the killing of the birds but not guilty to some of the other charges (especially that one company was not the employer) Cheers Alastair =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
