Hi Birders,In answer to Lorne's query about Mangrove Gerygones on the Central Coast, I can advise that they are irregularly seen and heard at a number of places in mangroves around the Brisbane Water foreshore. However they don't appear to be resident at any particular patrch of mangroves although they seem to be fairly regular at the Saratoga Wetlands, off Willaroo Place, Saratoga. It you go to Saratoga Wetlands watch out for Bush Stone-curlews, which although rarely seen are regularly heard calling at night.
