Hi CraigHoward announced on 21 April that 8 wetlands would be drained. But there are thousands along the Murray and he refused to name the chosen eight. It must be difficult to assess the ecological impact (costs or benefits) with that amount of info.! As for the costs of water to urban dwellers, who cares when they are prepared to pay 3000 times the cost of Melbourne excellent tap water (+ greenhouse costs) for bottled water.
