re the bush stone curlews in brisbane: there are also pairs/families resident at the QUT in kelvin grove, at the commercial hockey club in newmarket, and in the past i've also seen them at the GPS rugby oval in ashgrove. never seen any act aggressively. i suspect there's quite a healthy population of these ghostly beautiful birds around the city's sporting ovals and parks. not to mention two beach stone curlews we saw at victoria point on redland bay early this year. shane b ascot q =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
