There was a flock of some 70 White-winged Black Terns near the locked gate closest to Kirk Point, at least 3 of them in full summer plumage. Also Golden Plovers in good plumage at Kirk Point and Black-tailed Godwits in good plumage at Walsh's lagoon where there were also 3 Banded Stilts.
