Last Sunday certainly the T-Section/Summer Lagoons were pretty dry (but no
cattle), and the Cons Ponds were too full for waders - there were plenty at
the Little River mouth at low tide and also in some of the ponds by the
coast road east of L River where there was mud showing,

Hi All,

Nicole and I are planning a trip down to WTP this Sunday and I was a
bit curious about what influence the tides have on bird movements
within the plant?
On previous visits I've noticed that there is minimal shore bird
activity along the banks and at the mouth of the Little River at high
tide. Do the displaced waders tend to move onto the lagoons at high
tide or move away from the WTP?

I was also wondering what the current state of the T-Section and
Summer lagoons is at present? Last time we visited Summer 2 lagoon
and many of the T-Section ponds were dry and cattle were grazing in
these areas. Is this still the case?

cheers
Paul
