Barlow Lenses

Dear All,

Has anyone out there used a Barlow lens with the eyepiece on their  
spotting 'scope? If so do you find they are a worthwhile addition to  
your kit. It seems to me that they are a simple, economical way to  
increase the magnification of ones 'scope.
