The thornbills were dealt with in two editions of Wingspan.

Vol 1 (?) No 14 June 1994 covers "the thornbill species of the wetter habitats of southern and eastern Australia".

Mountain
Brown
Tasmanian
and Weebill

Vol 7 No 1 March 1997 covers "the thornbills of the arid interior and the west 
coast".
Chestnut-rumped
Inland
Slaty-backed
Slender-billed
Western
