Martin O'Brien asked: "Does anyone remember whether the Birds Australia magazine (Wingspan) featured the thornbills?" The thornbills were dealt with in two editions of Wingspan.Vol 1 (?) No 14 June 1994 covers "the thornbill species of the wetter habitats of southern and eastern Australia". Yellow-rumped Buff-rumped Yellow Striated Mountain Brown Tasmanian and Weebill Vol 7 No 1 March 1997 covers "the thornbills of the arid interior and the west coast".
