My top 5 NSW birding sites would include:
1)Maroubra (during the right conditions and one of the best sea birding
sites in the world!!!)
2)Prospect Reservoir (I love adding additional species to my local shire
list)
3)Harrington/Crowdy Bay NP (amazing diversity of sub-tropical species
relatively close to Sydney)
4)Capertee Valley (top woodland birding)
5)Hawkesbury area (good habitat variety and bird diversity and a good
rarity site)
My top 5 birding sites in Australia include:
1) Cairns/Wet Tropics, QLD (great tropical birding)
2) Cunumulla, QLD (an amazing oasis in the outback)
3) Werribee STW (one of the best water bird places in Oz!)
4) Victoria HWY, NT (great to be away from civilization and see some
amazing birds along the way)
5) Maroubra (during the best weather conditions for sea birding)
